Summer Peach Cereal Bars
Summer is in full swing here. And my 6 year old is eating me out of house and home. And if you’ve got kids at home you know how expensive it can be to continuously buy snacks. There have been a few boxes of cereal sitting in the pantry that I was afraid I’d wind up throwing away if I didn’t do something with it, so it was time to get creative. I zoomed in on the 1/2 eaten box of Peach Cheerios and while I LOVED them and thought they were delicious, I am not a big cereal person, most of the time we buy cereal for it’s snackability and not as a “breakfast” staple.
With only 4 ingredients, these cereal bars were a cinch to make and disappeared almost over night! Even my husband loved them. And I’ll let you in on a little secret : There may or may not be 1 or 2 hidden in the back of the pantry for later. I can imagine these being a great spin on a classic cereal bar treat for those awesome bbq’s .
So let’s get to it.
Summer Peach Cheerio Cereal Bars
These quick and easy cereal bars taste like summer! The perfect addition to BBQ's or even a sweet on the go breakfast bite!

- 1 Bag Mini Marshmallows ( Approx 10 1/2 oz)

- 1/4 Cup Dried Peaches Optional
Heat Butter & Marshmallows on low heat until fully melted.
Mix in Cheerios.
Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan and pour mixture into pan.
Flatten, *top with dried peaches and allow to cool (I have found that using a piece of parchment paper on top and using my hand to flatten works the best.)
