Low Carb Keto Friendly Slider Rolls 0 Sugar It’s A Lifechanger!

Good morning family. Or could be afternoon for some, anyways I am back with a recipe that will certainly change things up for you if you have never tried it! While searching the internet for a recipe for bread, any kind of BREAD I came across this recipe for Keto friendly rolls. It was called Fathead cheese dough. You can make rolls with cheese? Who knew? So I ran to the store and got all the ingredients I needed this was going to be good!

It only took me about 10 minutes to throw these wonderful things together. 60 min in the fridge for the dough to stiffen a bit and then it was on to the oven. My mind was a blur! All I could think about was what was I going to use them for? Cheeseburgers? Chicken sandwiches? Eggs? Butter? And the list goes on and on! Now you may think I’m being dramatic but this is coming from someone who has not had bread for 21 days now. I used to eat at least 4-6 sliced on any given day. Sandwiches, bread & butter, and pasta was at least 2-3 times a week with spaghetti sandwiches. Oh how that has all changed.

So lo and behold I took them out of the oven. They looked glorious! Hubby tried one and said it was pretty good. Mama April tried one and compared it with Red Lobster Cheddar rolls. I mean C’mon now could they be that good? My turn came at dinner. I put my Trader Joe’s roasted chicken patty on there (0 carb 0 sugar) . Put a shmear of light mayo took a bite I really thought I heard angels singing? Today is going to be making at least 3-4 batches of these guys and freezing them so I can have them on a needed basis. Check them out. Make them, let us know what you think. Now onto going to find me some pork rinds. Having Fajita’s tonight and I need to make a low carb tortilla wrap….Mama Carol

Keto Friendly Slider Rolls

  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella (I used Sargento)
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1/3 cup almond flour
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup shredded chedder (I used Sargento)
  • dash black pepper (optional)
  • dash garlic powder (optional)
  1. Preheat your oven to 425. Put your cream cheese in a microwavable bowl. Add your mozzarella cheese. Microwave in 15 second intervals till your cream cheese and cheese is melted and you can stir them with a rubber spatula. In another bowl whisk your egg. Now make sure you use a bigger bowl for the egg because everything is going in there. Add your dry ingredients to the whisked egg. Then fold in your cream/cheese mozzarella. Work it into the dough. Then add in your cheddar cheese. Your dough will be very sticky. Lay out a piece of Saran wrap or whatever store brand you may have and put your dough on top of it. Spread a little more almond flour on top so you can fold over the wrap and mold the dough into a ball. Put in the  fridge for about an hour so it stiffens up. Then cut the dough into 4 pieces. Roll them into a ball and then cut that ball in half. That will be your top and bottom bun. Place on a piece of parchment paper or a well greased pan. Bake 12-15 minutes until golden. (note check on them after about 10 minutes as oven temperatures can vary)
